Tommy Alfano

Tommy Alfano started his professional career in 1998 developing mobile telecommunications software for Motorola mobile phones and two-way radios.  Mr. Alfano brings over 23 years of professional software development and management experience, with expansive industry knowledge including telecom, accounting, finance, logistics, healthcare, public-safety, retail, and e-commerce.  In addition to his extensive industry experience, he is technically educated with a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.B.A. from the University of Alabama.  Mr. Alfano enjoys spending his extra time with his wife and four children in Mountain Brook, Alabama.

MICKEY DRINKARD

Mickey is a seasoned professional with a diverse career spanning over two decades.  Her extensive experience, commitment to excellence and exceptional skills make her a standout in the fields of real estate, business management, and marketing.

Mickey’s professional journey is marked by her roles as a Realtor at RE/MAX MarketPlace, co-owner of Superior Mower & Power, and a former paralegal at Harris & Harris, LLP.  She has also held positions as a Business Development Manager at Daymon Worldwide and an Administrative Assistant at Bruno’s Supermarkets, Inc.

Throughout her career, Mickey has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit and marketing acumen, using strategic thinking and tactical execution to contribute to her organizations’ growth and success. Her ability to craft innovative marketing strategies, build strong customer relationships, and drive business development has consistently resulted in increased market presence and profitability.

Mickey’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Justice Sciences with a minor in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). While attending UAB, Mickey was a founding member of the Marching Blazer Band and an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.

Mickey’s philanthropic spirit shines through her active involvement in the community. She is a dedicated member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks and serves as the Secretary for her local lodge.  Additionally, she plays a crucial role in planning various charitable initiatives and community events for the lodge.  Mickey is also a member of the Birmingham Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.

WYATT CANNON

As a dedicated software developer, I specialize in creating innovative solutions that blend cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design. My journey from a Computer Science major to a professional developer has been marked by hands-on experience in developing web applications, intuitive GUIs, and high-impact projects.

As a former NASA intern, I enhanced my software development skills through the Exoplanet Climate Infrared Telescope (EXCITE) experiment, focusing on modeling, simulation, and validation of software. This role deepened my proficiency in Python and allowed me to contribute to the open-source community by improving the ExoRad project.

My professional expertise spans both front-end and back-end development, utilizing technologies like React, Flask, .NET, and the MERN stack. My projects range from AI-driven educational tools to comprehensive web solutions for small businesses, demonstrating my ability to transform complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

In my current role, I continue to apply my skills in software engineering and development, always eager to take on new challenges and contribute to impactful projects at the forefront of technology and innovation.

VANESSA ALFANO

Vanessa Alfano brings over a decade of professional experience in human resource management, bookkeeping, and marketing to her role. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for fostering organizational growth, Vanessa has consistently demonstrated her expertise in managing and streamlining operations to enhance overall efficiency and productivity.

Vanessa holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she graduated with high honors. Her academic excellence was recognized nationally, earning the National Merit Award for Sociology.

In her current position, Vanessa plays a pivotal role in managing marketing and corporate strategy, ensuring that the company’s vision and goals are effectively communicated and implemented across all levels. Beyond her professional endeavors, Vanessa is an avid adventurer with remarkable achievements. Her adventurous spirit has led her to summit Mount Kilimanjaro, Mount Fuji, and Mount Everest, as well as several peaks in the Himalayan range. She also enjoys boating, rock climbing, and parasailing.
